Delish Green Beans

You will need…

A package of green beans

Olive oil

Onions (about one large)

Bacon (optional)


And of course, spices!


Cut the ends off the green beans and set aside. Chop up about 3 cloves of garlic (or as much as you want) and set aside with the green beans. Lastly, chop up the onion.

(My boyfriend likes to add just water to the skillet and let the green beans boil for awhile before he drains them and adds the rest of the ingredients, but I don’t see the point of that. So either way! This is how I do it…)

Heat up a skillet on the stove and pour in some olive oil. Not too much!

Throw the green beans in, since they will take the longest.

In a side skillet, cook up some bacon, about 2 slices.

After the green beans are about half way done, throw in the garlic and onions. Stir occasionally.

When the bacon is done, chop into small flakes and add to the green bean pot.

Add a bit of garlic salt, and pepper.
