Jumbo Shells

You will need…

A box of jumbo shells

A container of ricotta cheese, one standard “tub” of ricotta cheese will make about 15 shells.

Fresh Basil

Spinach (the real stuff!)

Marinara sauce

Spices

Bring a pot of water to boil. When ready, boil noodles until half way done and take them out. Let cool while making ricotta mixture.

Chop the basil and spinach into small flakes and mix with ricotta.

Add some spices (I used garlic, oregano, basil, & red pepper)

Carefully stuff the shells with the mixture.

Pour some marinara in a pan and place the shells in the pan.

Pour the remaining red sauce over the shells. Make sure the tops of all the shells are covered otherwise they wont cook!

Bake at 350°  for about an hour. Check on them often and move the shells around to make sure all sides of them get cooked.

Enjoy!
