Vanilla Bean Cupcakes with Nutella Frosting

I just made these from Krissy’s Creations!

I haven’t tried them yet-too sugared out from nomming on the batter the whole time! But I’ve been told their good, and the batter was delicious!

Here’s her recipe with a few tweaks I made to the batter:

Vanilla Bean Buttermilk Cupcakes
4 Eggs
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Bean Paste (or the seeds of 1 Vanilla Bean Pod, or 2 teaspoons of Pure Vanilla Extract)
1 ¼ cups Buttermilk
3 cups Cake Flour
2 cups Sugar
3 ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Salt
1 cup (2 sticks) Unsalted Butter, at Room Temperature
Nutella Buttercream
1 ½ cups (3 Sticks) Unsalted Butter (Softened)
3 cups Confectioners Sugar
1/8 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
1 cup Nutella
So, for the icing, I looked at 3 sticks of butter, and felt my waistline grow! So I used one and a half sticks and poured some left over butter cream in there until it was the right texture. Then added just a bit of flour so it wasn’t so buttery and runny!
