We had tons of left over Red Velvet cupcakes so I whipped up this little number!
You will need…
2 cups of vitamin d milk
1 cup of heavy cream
4 egg yolks
3/4 cup of sugar
splash of vanilla
3-4 red velvet cupcakes
In a saucepan, stir the first five ingredients at a low heat. Enough to melt sugar, but don’t cook the eggs!
After combined, throw into an ice cream maker, tear two cupcakes apart and throw in with the mixture.
Once the ice cream is almost done, tear up and add the last two cupcakes. Once done, put into a airtight container and stash in the freezer-after eating some! 🙂
